Rules
Most of the following rules apply mainly for the role-playing boards but there are some of course that are for all the boards within the forum.
1) Swearing is allowed, but I don't want it used for harrassing or putting others down or anything of the kind when you are out of character on the boards, and if you HAVE to vent your anger on someone curse at them through pm. And in character arguing is permitted if it is part of the role play, of course! And please don't use sexual terms a whole lot... there are younger people on this board, and yes, I know they have been exposed to sexual things before, but I don't want any talk of sex. Sexual words are only allowed to be used as curse words and not for a sexual meaning. Such as the word 'dick.' I'd prefer to see it being used as 'dickhead' and not for it's true meaning.
Also, relating to the sexual term topic, this forum welcomes homosexual characters. We do not shun them, in fact I have a few of my own. Lesbians and gays are perfectly fine, just remember to follow the above rules. =) If anyone has a problem with that, I suggest you just don't role play with any homosexual characters.
2) Please do not use annoying chatspeak. There is a difference between chatspeak and accidently mispelling words. Ex. of annoying chatspeak: hey wut ^ gurlies how r u im @ sk8trboy prk and i hav blu ies u no isnt it gr8t
3) No pointless gibber/spam. This is very annoying. Ex. of of annoying spam: heyooo fffhfh rrr338~~111.
4) Please be at least semi-literate. If you don't know what that means, then it probably means you are not. I don't expect you to be the best role player in the world, but I want you to at least try and be descriptive when necessary, use symbols of some sort to seperate actions from words (ex. ", *, -, ', and ~), identify when you are speaking out of character, and no one liners unless it is for some reason necessary. I can't stress all this enough.
5) Do not post out of character too often. If you just want to say a few things real quick on your board, that's fine, but I don't want people carrying on an entire out of character conversation on a role playing board. That is where private messaging comes in.
6) No advertising at all except through private messaging, and I don't want it happening all the time.
7) Please keep in mind if you want to be a Pokémorph, wild Pokémon (from the real pokédex or the Tiétan pokédex), Own a talking Pokémon or be a wild talking Pokémon, Gym Leader, Be a Legendary Pokémon/Trainer with a Legendary Pokémon, Be a villian member of the Tiétan bad guys (Team Electra or Team Oblivian) or Team Rocket, Be an other exsisting villian {aqua, magma} (need good reason for this), or anything of the sort you have to private message me first asking permission and explain why I should grant it. I am not expecting a debate, but I want a pretty good reason to allow you. Things that would make me want to give you permission would be character/Pokémon profiles, background stories, maybe some pictures, ect. I am not expecting the most interesting and beautiful questioning on earth, but you know what I am getting at, right?
8) This isn't really a rule but I'm just letting you know it's NOT required for you be be a new trainer at all like some forums demand. If you want to be a completely new trainer, power to you, but you can be a trainer with 5 years experience already if you wish. You just need to post that type of information on your character profile on the Profile Boards. Such things that should be included are where you got your first Pokémon, how long you've been a trainer, and how many Pokémon you have thus far. However, if you fancy being a new trainer, head over to the pink lab in Kieta!
9) This is more like a warning, if anything. If I feel you have broken any of these rules or have done something I don't like, I reserve the right to ban you from the forum temporarily. If you continue to bother me, I will just completely delete your account and ban your e-mail adress. And try not to annoy me. Do not constantly pm me over something if I am not responding, do not complain or boo hoo to me, and do not try to get sassy with me. Truly, you will anger me and I will ban you. Don't worry, I'm not a horrible person. I'm just very busy and this forum is my fun spot. I don't like coming home from work and hearing constant complaints over petty things. And also, I don't mind pm messages if you wanna chat or suggest something =) And don't bug other admins/mods/members, because they can ban you or complain about you and the complaints would get to me.
10) If you do not post within 1 week (perhaps a little leeway will be given) of joining the forum, you will be deleted. This forum is for active members only, and active meaning you post more than once a month. Once a week is required, at least. Please keep this in mind.
That is all for right now. I might come up with more, but probably not so don't fret!
